Ms. Burby works primarily with Mr. Diebenow and Ms. Trimmer, focusing on land use, zoning, government law, and real estate. She is responsible for overall case management and instrumental in preparing various zoning and land use documents for use in connection with securing business and development incentives as well as entitlements including land use, zoning, concurrency and mobility fee, and alcohol licensing approvals. She also assists in the representation of individuals, corporations, landowners and developers real estate transactions including the leasing, acquisition, entitlement, financing, and development of all types of commercial and residential properties.
Ms. Burby received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Penn State University and serves on the board of the Northeast Florida Paralegal Association, Inc. She previously worked for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid as a consumer law paralegal before joining DMHD in 2019.
